EC Peer — last updated April 9, 2026
EC Peer is a private collaborative platform built for Emergent Coding teams. It provides project management, component tracking, team coordination, AI-assisted design tools, and AI credit management for registered members. The platform includes an optional Telegram bot (@ECPeer_bot) that delivers in-app notifications to users who choose to connect their Telegram account.
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the platform:
We do not collect precise location data or any sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the platform.
The @ECPeer_bot Telegram bot is used exclusively to deliver notifications initiated by platform events (such as a new team invitation, a project update, or a new comment). The bot does not read your Telegram messages, does not store chat history, and does not initiate contact beyond the notifications you would expect from your platform activity.
Linking your Telegram account is entirely optional. You may remove your Telegram ID from your profile at any time, which will stop all bot notifications.
AI credit top-ups are processed by Stripe (Stripe, Inc.). When you initiate a payment you are redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. EC Peer never sees or stores your card number, CVV, or billing address — this information is entered directly on Stripe's servers and is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
EC Peer receives only a confirmation of payment from Stripe, along with the session ID and the amount paid. These are stored solely to credit your account and prevent duplicate processing. Stripe may set its own cookies on their hosted checkout page; these are outside EC Peer's control.
AI-assisted features (component suggestions, design tool assistance, datasheet generation, and similar) are powered by the Claude API operated by Anthropic, PBC. When you use these features, the text you submit (such as a component description or design context) is transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate a response.
EC Peer does not send your name, account ID, or any directly identifying information to Anthropic as part of these requests. However, any content you include in your prompt may be processed by Anthropic in accordance with their Privacy Policy and API usage terms. Avoid including sensitive personal data in AI prompts.
Token usage counts (how many tokens were consumed per request) are stored locally to calculate the cost deducted from your credit balance. No prompt content is stored by EC Peer.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.
The external services your data may touch are limited to:
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Activity logs are retained to support collaboration history. If you wish to have your account and associated data removed, please contact the platform administrator.
Access to the platform is restricted to registered and authenticated users. All data is stored on private infrastructure. We take reasonable technical precautions to protect the data we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all platform communication.
You have the right to:
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
EC Peer uses only strictly necessary cookies required to operate. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable law, but we disclose them here for full transparency.
